Due to driver shortage, students who ride the Blue Bus to McGraw and Black Bus to Davis Hill will arrive home approximately 30-45 minutes later than normal this afternoon. They will wait at school until a bus returns at 3:15 to pick them up and bring them home. You are welcome to pick them up today if that works out better for your family. Tonight our Lady Panthers basketball team will host Bowdon for the first round of the GHSA state playoffs. The game starts at 6:00. Let's pack the stands for these ladies and coaches. Senior night for wrestling has been rescheduled for January 31. We will host Russell County beginning at 5:30. Please come out and support our Panthers!
Senior night for basketball is Tuesday, Jan. 30. We will recognize the seniors between the two varsity games that start at 6 pm. The JV game is canceled for this date. Come out and support our Seniors! See you there!

The Chattahoochee Valley Technology Competition will be held on December 16th at Shaw High School! Scan the QR codes to access rubrics for each category and to join our Chattco team! This is a great opportunity for our students to showcase their technology skills! Seniors also have a chance to win a $250 scholarship for each category, or win the Lou Dewberry Scholarship ($750).

Reminder: For tomorrow's Milestones testing it's important that your student's Chromebook is fully charged to ensure they can complete the exam without any issues. This small action can go a long way in providing a smooth testing experience. Thank you for your support and cooperation in this matter.
Due to ongoing severe weather and tornado watches expected throughout the night, all students and staff will have a 2-hour delay tomorrow. Buses will arrive 2 hours later at the stop along with school starting 2 hours later than normal time. CCMHS car rider students may arrive beginning at 9:00 and CCEC car rider students may arrive at 9:45. Cold Breakfast items will be available.
The Chattahoochee County Middle School is hosting a Family STEAM Night on March 9th from 5:30 to 6:30! Students and families are invited to participate in hands-on, interactive STEAM activities. What: Saturday School Attendance Recovery
When: Saturdays, 8AM-12PM
Where: CCMHS Library
Who: Students who have a minimum of 10 unexcused absences OR wish to recover attendance for test exemption purposes are eligible for Saturday School Attendance Recovery.
How: Show up on designated Saturdays at 8AM (late entrance will not be allowed) and complete assigned work. Every 2 hours of Saturday School earns 1 day of attendance recovered. (Full 2 hours must be completed). Parents/guardians of students meeting attendance requirements will be notified.
Also: Transportation will not be provided. Attendance Recovery is a privilege and access may be revoked for late pickup and other reasons at administrative staff's discretion.

The Chattahoochee County Middle School is hosting a Literacy Family STEAM Night on October 20th from 5:30 to 6:30 in the school cafeteria! In preparation for the event, middle school students will participate in Character Day during the school day where they have the opportunity to dress as their favorite book character. For our evening event, we invite families to participate in hands-on, interactive STEAM activities that highlight books in our school media center. A drone demonstration with the GA Forestry Commission will be held from 5:30 to 5:50. Families will also have a chance to enjoy a book walk, and Kona Ice will be available for purchase. Additionally, we will have a drawing for a drone giveaway! We hope to see you at our first Middle School Family STEAM Night of the new school year!
